EHS equipment for factories in Vietnam: what auditors expect and what to rent or buy

Calibration and evidence
- Every survey instrument ships with a calibration certificate; gas detectors are bump-tested and calibrated with certified gas before delivery.
- Reports for corporate EHS are accepted more readily when the instrument, serial number and certificate are listed — we provide these in EN/VI.
- Instruments you own go into the same calibration schedule as your production equipment — loaner instruments.

Which EHS measurements are mandatory for a factory in Vietnam?
Employers must monitor the working environment (noise, light, heat, dust, chemicals) periodically and keep records; environmental permits set additional self-monitoring for wastewater, emissions and noise at the fence. Your EHS consultant confirms the exact scope for your licence.
Can we rent instruments just for the annual survey?
Yes. Most sites rent dosimeters, WBGT and particulate meters for one week a year rather than owning and calibrating them.
Do rental gas detectors come calibrated?
Yes — bump-tested and span-calibrated with certified gas, with the certificate in the case.
Can you supply PPE and fixed gas detection too?
We supply portable and fixed gas detection and electrical-safety instruments; for PPE and signage we introduce specialist partners.
Do you provide the measurements as a service?
No — we supply and calibrate the instruments. Accredited monitoring reports must come from a licensed monitoring organisation; we can recommend one in your province.
