About Bac Ninh’s industrial parks
Bac Ninh is Vietnam’s densest electronics manufacturing province. Samsung Electronics opened its first Vietnamese phone plant at Yen Phong in 2008, followed by Samsung Display; Canon runs plants in Que Vo and Tien Son; Foxconn and Goertek assemble in Que Vo; and Amkor Technology’s Yen Phong II-C plant, opened in 2023, brought advanced semiconductor packaging and test to the province. Around these anchors sit hundreds of Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese and Chinese tier-1 and tier-2 suppliers in Yen Phong I/II, Que Vo I/II/III, Tien Son, VSIP Bac Ninh (Tu Son), Dai Dong–Hoan Son and Thuan Thanh. Since 1 July 2025 Bac Ninh has merged with Bac Giang province (Foxconn, Luxshare and Hana Micron plants in Van Trung and Quang Chau), so the combined province now covers the whole northern electronics corridor.
