Rigol DG2072 Function Arbitrary Waveform Generator

Rigol DG2072 overview

Rigol DG2072 is a two-channel function/arbitrary waveform generator in the DG2000 family. Its maximum sine-wave frequency is 70 MHz, with a 250 MSa/s sample rate and 16-bit vertical resolution. Use it to stimulate electronic circuits, reproduce test waveforms, sweep response characteristics and develop repeatable bench tests. Sine, square, pulse and arbitrary-waveform frequency limits differ; the table below preserves the model-specific limits.

Functional connection schematic

Waveform definition / frequency / amplitude / offset
  → DG2072 waveform engine and memory → 16-bit DAC
  → selected CH1 / CH2 output → suitable cable and termination → DUT
DUT response → oscilloscope / analyzer (separate instrument)
PC control ↔ USB / LAN ↔ generator

This functional connection schematic shows a typical stimulus-and-response setup. It is a selection aid rather than an internal service circuit. Set amplitude, offset and load impedance before enabling an output, and confirm that the DUT input can accept the complete signal excursion. Match cable and termination requirements to the frequency and waveform. Measurement instruments shown are separate equipment.

Product images and integration | Hình ảnh và tích hợp

For system integration, define the required waveform type, frequency range, channel phase relationship, trigger/burst behavior, sweep sequence and remote-control workflow. State whether arbitrary waveform memory expansion or optional adapters are required. Check the current user guide for output protection, grounding and terminal ratings.
